tonight i had the last chapel rehearsal of my college career.

for the last three years, i've spent monday nights and tuesday mornings in this church building, plugging in sound gear, making music, reading Scripture, watching art be created, taking communion, arranging hymns, learning new songs, singing harmonies, listening to sermons, keeping my viola dusted off.

all three years have been with this guy.

and while there is no way for me to fully recap what chapel has meant for me in college, i can say this team has been a really great way to end my chapel run.  i've loved each year for its unique joys and challenges, but this team--it has been both light-hearted and full of peace.  that is a superb combination for a team spending so much time together on a weekly basis.  and i've truly looked forward to every rehearsal, every planning meeting, and especially every cadre.  we can literally sit around in a circle and talk and laugh for hours, no official activity needed.

chapel nostalgia complete.  for now.
ps lyndsay and bob--we missed you.
